About Mini G

Mini G is a collection of minigames to play with friends in the browser, with nothing to install and no sign-up.

What Mini G is

Mini G puts twelve minigames in one place: quizzes, aiming and memory games, drawing, words, deduction and games for laughs. You play in a shared room, in real time, each from your own phone or computer.

The idea is simple: when time is short, or friends are far away, a link should be enough to get together and play. That is why each game has rules you can explain in a few seconds, and settings the host can adapt to the group.

Why it exists

The project comes from the wish for party games that are easy to start, that work well on a phone and that do not make anyone create an account or download an app. The first contact should be: open the page, pick a name, play.

Every game is meant to feel different from the others, so the pace can change during an evening: from a reflex challenge to a word game, from a memory race to a vote for laughs.

How it works

Whoever creates a room becomes its host. The room has a 4-letter code, an invitation link and can hold up to 8 people. The host picks the game (the others can vote), sets its options, starts it and can pause. A host can also just run the match without playing.

There are no accounts: a name and the code are enough. Game state, scores and correct answers are decided by the server, not by the player's device.

If you leave the page by mistake you can come back: during a match the server keeps your seat for a short interval.

Data, in two lines

Mini G does not ask you to sign up and does not show your name outside the room you are playing in (except Frenzy scores, which appear in the Leaderboards panel). For details on which data is processed, for how long and on what legal basis, read the Privacy and Cookie Policy.

Who is behind it

The data controller is Filippo Bagatin, Verona, Italy, as stated in the Privacy and Terms pages. To write to the project, go to the Contact page.
